Please join West Michigan Action for Healthy Kids on Saturday, October 2, 2010 for a family friendly event, Race for Healthy Kids 5K Run/Walk to raise awareness and funds for programs to help children of all weights, shapes and sizes to be healthy, happier and perform better in school. All proceeds from the event will benefit children in the West Michigan area.
Online Registration Online Registration will close by 12pm on September 30, 2010. If you miss the deadline, you can sign up on-site the day of the event. See below for details. Registrations received after September 18, 2010 are not guaranteed a T-shirt. To guarantee your registration, mailed forms must be postmarked by September 28, 2010.

The Kids Fruity Fun Run is open to kids 5 to 10 years old. Kids under 5 may participate with an adult runner. The event will be held on the Rockford High School track. The kids will decide how far they want to run; each lap on the track is 1/4 mile. All registered entrants will receive a T-shirt and ribbon for participation. Awards
Age Categories: 14 and under, 15-18; 19-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 and over
1st Place "Top Banana" Trophy for overall male and female winners
1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals based on chip time awards in each age group
All Kids Fruity Fun Run participants will receive an award
Additional Information
Registrations are nontransferable and nonrefundable. Strollers are allowed, but will be asked to line up behind those without them for safety purposes. Animals, bikes, skateboards, or rollerblades are not allowed. In case of severe weather, event directors reserve the right to cancel without refund. 5K Training Program
