Vermont Action for Healthy Kids Welcome to the Vermont Team Action for Healthy Kids is the nation’s leading nonprofit and largest volunteer network fighting childhood obesity and undernourishment by partnering with schools to improve nutrition and physical activity to help our kids learn to eat right, be active every day, and be ready to learn. The Vermont Action for Healthy Kids Team is a coalition of health and nutrition professionals and other community members who take action in schools, communities, and regions to make positive change. The Vermont Team supports healthy eating and active living through a variety of statewide resources and programs that include the Fit and Healthy School Wellness Awards.
